KOMIKON Charity Auction Financial Report

Eto na, sa wakas, nakumpleto ko ng ipunin ang mga collectibles at nai-deposit na kaagad sa mga recipient.   Eto po muna naging timeline ng auction at mga koleksyon.

November 16 (Saturday): KOMIKON auction, nakangalap po tayo ng P57,305.05 na cash at may lilikomin pa na P45,000.00 sa artwork (P27,000.00 + P18,000.00), P8,000.00 na pledge at pahabol na P500.00.  TOTAL COLLECTIBLES: P53,500.00.

November 19 (Tuesday): Pumasok na at pwede ng ma-withdraw ang P8,000.00 na pledge.

November 20 (Wednesday): Lumuwas para kuhanin ang artwork ni Mico na worth P27,000.00.

November 21 (Thursday): Deposited P6,000.00 para kay Vergil.

November 22 (Friday): Inayos at ipinadala sa Cebu ang artwork ni Mico, at natanggap ang bayad na P27,000.00.

November 23 (Saturday): Natanggap ang bayad sa artwork ni Manix na P18,000.00.

November 25 (Monday): Nag-deposit ng P27,500.00 para kay Vergil at P20,000.00 para sa mga taga-Bohol.  TOTAL DEPOSITED: P6,000.00 + P27,500.00 + P20,000.00 = P 53,500.00.

KOMIKON 2013 aftermath!

Wohoooh, kakatapos lang ng KOMIKON...at GRAVEH talaga!

Siyempre, mega-excited dahil KOMIKON, maraming comics, pero mas excited kasi gawa ng CHARITY AUCTION para sa kapatid nating si VERGIL ESPINOSA at mga nasalanta ng lindol sa BOHOL.  Sa paghahanda pa lang, super-busy na...follow-up dito..follow-up doon... meeting dito...meeting d'un...trabaho dito...trabaho d'un...kaya ng dumating ang araw, hay sus, 'buti kaya pa ng powers koh!

Sa preparasyon, eto po 'yung naging poster namin.  MARAMING SALAMAT nga pala kay JONAS DIEGO at NEIL AMIEL CERVANTES sa panahong inukol para dito.

At pagdating ng itinakdang araw, KOMIKON na nga.  Umaga pa lang super excited na, at pagdating sa venue, mega-prepare.  Galit-galit muna.  Seryoso sa pag-aayos ng set-up.  At ng makatapos, takbo kaagad kila Sandy ng COMICS ODYSSEY, tradisyun na 'yun eh, unahan ang mga exhibitor!  benefit ng pagiging exhibitor, tira-tira na lang sa mga parokyano!

Lagi ko kaaway d'yan si GERRY ALANGUILAN at ANDREW VILLAR!  Tradisyun na rin 'yun!

Tapos, mayamaya lang, dumating na si SUPERSTAR MANIX ABRERA at ibinigay ang gawa nya.  Grabeh, sabi ko, pa-pix na muna dahil hindi ko na ulit siya makakausap, dahil SIGURADONG PILA-BALDE na naman siya...at TOTOO nga, grabeh ang pila maghapon!

At habang naghihintay para sa mga suki...prepare...chika...gala...tapos ng magkaroon ng free stage time, tawag ang mga kakosa, si JONAS at GERRY, at mega-promote kami!

At pagdating nga alas singko y media, ang itinakdang oras...ayan nah!  Dagsa na ang mga suki at nagsimula na ang labanan!  As in kakatuwa talaga!  'buti and'un 'yung boss ko para tumulong, at nakita nya kung paano ang auction ng mga comics mangyari!

Whohooh, grabeh talagah! At nakapag-raise kami ng P54,700.00 in cash, tapos may isang bag ng mga barya at alkansya, at may nag-donate ng mga relief goods.  Tapos, may collectibles na P44,000.00 at $200.00 pa.  

MARAMING, MARAMING SALAMAT PO sa LAHAT ng artist na naging bahagi at nag-donate ng kanilang mga gawa para maging MATAGUMPAY ang auction na ito.  Hindi po mapapantayan ang kabutihang ito na nagawa nyo.   SALAMAT PO!  

Pagkatapos ng auction, accounting kaagad, tapos may reporter, MARK NAVARRO  na naroon at nakakuha kaagad siya ng mga impormasyon para sa isusulat nya.  Maayos din naman para sa dokumentasyon.

At pagkatapos i-report, diretso na ang pera sa mga recipients ng auction.. Ang mga relief goods, binigay namin sa Red Cross.  Tapos 'yung pera, hinati namin para kay VERGIL ESPINOSA at mga taga-BOHOL.

Unang resibo, para sa mga taga-BOHOL, eto 'yung organization na nakatanggap.  Bale, P26,100.00 na cash n'ung KOMIKON at isang bag na barya (ang hirap bilangin dun mismo), sa TOTAL na P28,705.05!  Hihingan ko na lang sila ng picture documentation para sa activity nila para sa mga taga-BOHOL.
